Today in Miami: Orange Bowl Tailgating Party Features Smash Mouth

[CDATA[It's the New Year, and aside from drinking that can only mean one thing: Bowl games. For followers of College Football in Miami, the Orange Bowl is Christmas all over again. But for those who couldn't care less about football, it's still a top notch event. Why? Tailgating. The game is played inside Dolphin Stadium, sure, but the real event is in the parking lot. Copious crowds of people gather to eat barbeque, party, and drink (and drink, and drink). There are also bands and DJs everywhere. One such performance is Smash Mouth. Remember them? You may not think of them often, but I'd bet you sometimes catch yourself humming "When The Morning Comes," "Walking on the Sun," or "All Star". Well apparently they haven't retired, they're just playing in parking lots now. The game and event takes place today at Dolphins Stadium. ]]

The DJ is currently working on collaborative projects that encompass the street culture lifestyle through music art and fashion. Between touring nonstop and his dedicated lab time, you can find Klever maintaining his monthly Friday-night weekly. That's tonight, by the way, a splendid time to see what the man is made of. Best known as the gossip-mongering girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan, she occasionally also makes music. Fine, that's her main vocation, but if she wasn't dating Lohan, what are the odds you would have heard of her? Okay, maybe you would have heard of her from her association with her famous family her twin sister Charlotte is a talented designer, brother Marks a well-respected DJ (even though all his songs sound the same), and her stepfather was a guitarist for Foreigner. Sure, Ronson wouldnt be getting as much attention as she gets if she wasnt dating Lohan, but that doesnt mean shes not a good DJ. Bert Stern photographed the famed Marilyn Monroe Last Sitting session way back in 1962 -- only weeks before the troubled actress die -- yet the iconic images still boomerang back into public consciousness. Earlier this year, Stern stoked interest in the photographs by recreating them with an enfant terrible/DJ's girlfriend. Beginning today, the originals are on display at Opera Gallery. ]]
