They said Johnny Cash would never redo Nine Inch Nails. Then when we looked it up and he realized that I was right he said "Well Johnny Cash actually understands what the song is about, he'd been through a lot in his life, so he knows what he's talking about when he sings it." Granted, the sound is too aggressive to appeal to a mainstream audience, but it’s still nothing groundbreaking or artistically challenging. It’s merely fun mindless tunes. Woodpigeon include up to 14 members whistling, clapping hands, harmonica-ing to create a truly collaborative sound. With Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir, it's more about slide guitar and banjo, but y'know, more edgy. Us Canadians don't do anything in a straightforward way. - R.T. Our teacher put a bunch of us in a band and entered us in some guitar competitions in the U.S. Although it was a lot of fun, it was also really embarrassing because I sucked so much. For some reason or another my teacher decided to put me in this other band with some really really good people and wanted us to play Europa from the album The Best of Santana in the next competition. Not only that, we had to memorize it and couldn't have any music in front of us. That's when I really appreciated Santana because that was the hardest thing to play ever.
