Adapted from a recipe created for Pierce Brosnan by Salvador Calabrese at the The Lanesborough Hotel in London. Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces vodka, straight from the freezer 1/2 ounce chilled Champagne 1/4 ounce absinthe substitute, such as Pernod, Herbsaint or Absente 1 sugar cube Instructions Pour the vodka into a well-chilled martini glass. Add the Champagne and stir briefly (dont shake!). Place the sugar cube onto a barspoon or teaspoon, soak it with the absinthe substitute and ignite it with a match.
