This little gem is from Avenue Bar and Lounge. Play around with the recipe, and turn Avenue’s signature drink into you own. (They have 19 more anyway).
Ingredients:
6 Part(s) Absolute Mandarin vodka
2 Part(s) Cranberry Juice
1 Garnish candied orange zest
Instructions:
Put cracked ice in cocktail shaker, and then pour the vodka and cranberry juice into it. Shake vigorously. Strain into chilled martini glass. Run orange zest around rim of glass, leave on edge for drinker to squeeze or drop into glass.
Notes:
Now you don’t have to daydream of lounging about on one of those beige couches, or kicking back at a corner table (those are hard to get anyway). Whip up one of these signature drinks, and recreate the Avenue experience at home. Experiment, don’t restrict yourself to a beige couch. Your old plaid number with the plastic covering will do. |
