|  This cocktail is a revitalization of the French 75, a drink that became popular during World War 1 as the drink of returning fighter pilots. Celebrating their safe return pilots would toast their fallen comrades with the French 75. The name came from a gun used by the French in WW1. Ingredients: 5 Parts Pol Roger Champagne 2 Parts Bombay Sapphire Gin 1 Part Lemon Juice 1 Part Powdered Sugar Instructions In a shaker half-filled with cracked ice, combine the Bombay Sapphire Gin, sugar, and lemon juice. Shake well. Pour into a collins glass. Top with the Pol Roger Champagne. Stir well and garnish with a lemon twist.
