Apple pie was a permanent fixture in the 1950's. A bit like beacons, the smell of a freshly baked apple pie charted our way through Ozzie and Harriet suburbs, telling us where to gather for a slice of this wonder. Here is a slice in a glass.

6 parts Premium Vanilla Vodka
1 part calvados
1 part dry vermouth

Instructions
Pre-chill glass with ice. Meanwhile add the ingredients to shaker with cracked ice, Mix contents. Dump ice out of glass, then strain drink into chilled glass, add the sliced apple
