| Just as a piece of clothing sends a silent message, so has every Martini it's purpose, it's reaison-d'etre. Some drinks make you laugh, some make you think, some make you lazy. And then there is a Martini like the Sultan, that makes you want to throw on your TAG Heurs and take a step into uncharted territory.
Sometimes that one good drink is the only escape mechanism from the nexus of utter despair. This Martini, called the Sultan, is a fixture at the Windsor Arms Hotel: combination of Stoli raspberry vodka, Chambord, melon liqueur, cranberry and lemon.
Ingredients:
6 parts Stoli Raspberry Vodka
2 parts Chambord
1 part Cranberry juice
1 splash lemon juice
Garnish
Lemon twist
Instructions
Pre-chill glass with ice. Meanwhile add the ingredients to shaker with cracked ice, Mix contents. Dump ice out of glass, then strain drink into chilled glass, add the cherry.
