MTV Top 100 Videos That Broke The Rules
Being rebellious, sticking it to the man and just being different is basically the theme for MTV’s 25th anniversary special; Top 100 Videos That Broke The Rules. And of course, Madonna leads the pack.

MTV compiled a list by polling 10,000 viewers and it is obvious that there’s a mix of the old and new. However, with five videos and a stigma that’ll last forever, Madame Madonna is truly queen. The new princess of pop in the form of Britney Spears also managed to make contact with her video "Baby One More Time" landing at number two.

The criteria was that it could be a mega budget fiasco (Michael and Janet Jackson’s "Scream"), a tasteless, sleazy one (Robbie Williams skin strip show) or even a strong political standpoint (Public Enemy’s "Fight The Power"). Think Guns N Roses, Christina Aguilera, Aerosmith and even Culture Club.

It premieres on Tuesday, August 1st at 3:30pm on MTV UK with a bunch of repeats and highlights so nobody misses out on the lunacy.
