Sky 360

Aspen Properties Ltd. and the Concorde Entertainment Group have joined pocketbooks to open up a new restaurant. Hovering up in the upper rungs of the Calgary Tower - at an epic 600 feet above ground – Sky 360 is slated to open in mid-July. Along with the impressive bird’s eye view, guests will be spun around 360° in pure CN Tower fashion. An hour-long lunch date should give you the full Cowtown tour.



The cuisine is slated to be “regional Canadian cuisine prepared with a contemporary feel.” Unoriginal to the core (the two corporate conglomerates have emulated the idea, theme and even the Sky 360 name from Toronto's CN Tower restaurant. While the CN Tower did become a huge tourist attraction and helped to put Toronto on the map, there is no doubt Calgary is looking for the same effect. Looking good and somewhat high-end, Sky 360 will surely be the stomping grounds for every A-list tourist. –J.T.
