My family was treated very dis-respectfull at the Olive Garden yesterday in Calgary. WE arrived at 730pm me, my mom and my sister, my 10 mth old son and my 2yrs neice. we were told that there was a 40 minutes wait. We sat waitng patiently for 20 ,minutes, but we noticed that people who came after us in groups of twos and thres and more were getting seated before us. I really dont know if it was because we "are black". After 40 minutes and four more sets of people who came after us got seated andus being snub by the hosted. We decided we would leave. but i wanted to speak with the manager first. He came out but first fixing the furniiture before acknowloging us. i told him what had occured, he half heartedly apologiced as we walked through the door.I will never be going back to that restaurant. I think they dont Cater for Black people with two babies because that the onkly reaon i could see why they would behave that way.
