Cupcakes started a revolution with its signature store at 1116 Denman Street. As inviting as a sugared confection its bright façade and energetic interior helps lure the crowds. Fresh lemon, coconut, chocolate and marble cupcake cupcakes sit in cheerful rows in the display case.



As its name implies, the store doles out signature cupcakes - The Mocha Molten, Butter Cup, Marble Cake with peanut butter ice cream - and they’re all truly are amazing. Also, try the rich Lemon Drop, the Diva and the Cosmo cupcakes. Mmmm (with four Ms), cupcakes (with two Cs). - R.B.
