A Carnivore’s paradise—pulled pork, babyback ribs, smoked sausages, brisket, Cornish hen…what else would you need? Maybe a carrot and celery stick for your veggie supplement of the day. They have daily specials ranging from cheap wings to cheap beer. You can camp out and capitalize on their free wireless internet or sling back some high balls and watch the game. OR, you can just pig out on one of their Texan-size platters full of meaty delights. Mmm…-.A.C

1This place is gross. I should have been warned by the fact
that there is never anyone dining here. Obviously the food would be stale. Not ever going back. The atmosphere might have had a chance for drinks if they weren't playing boxing on TV. Who wants to watch men pummel eachother when your trying to have a good positive time?
Not me. posted by Jenn Chales 447 days ago 2Migz has the potential to be a great place - but unfortunately it has a long way to go. The atmosphere and decor is cold and just not comfortable. The food is really bad. We had the appy platter and even the fries were cold and soggy, with everything drowned in salt as if the cook was a chain smoker. Really, the only positive thing about the place is the cheap beer. But with places like Elwood's down the street that do serve good food - I won't be wasting any more time in this dive. posted by Bob 410 days ago 3Migz has a prime location right on the Broadway Kitsilano strip. You can usually find a great mid-week draft beer special, but sometimes the beer tastes a little suspect. If they could serve a consistent quality of beer for a great price then I would spend more "regular" time there. The one thing that I have wondered every time I have been to Migz is who chooses the music? It is usually way too loud and lame, dated top 40 tunes. Buy a few decent cd's, turn it down a little (how do people work there all day?) and offer better beer for a great price and I would drink there all the time. The food I've had there can hold it's own. I've always enjoyed the BBQ, but the atmosphere needs some urgent attention. posted by Mitur Binizdurti 160 days ago | |
