    This gorgeous, popular, downtown Italian joint aggravates my claustrophobia, elevating it from slight irritation to full-blown psychosis. As the Italian expands my stomach to belt-pushing levels, the picturesque, Tuscan-inspired courtyard for which the restaurant is named seems to get tighter.     I love Il Cortile. I've been going for years. The terrace is beautiful, private and full of flowers. The food is great, the ambiance is great, the servers are attentive but yet not over your shoulder and reccommend this resto to anyone who has high standards. It's an awesome way to spend a friday or saturday night in the summer. And...It's a great place to spot a hockey player or a celebrity!
