Paaeez

First of all, save yourself potential embarrassment: It's pronounced "pie-eeez," for those of us who didn't spend a semester abroad studying diaeresis. And come to think of it, this bar has a couple things in common with that cheeky foreign metaplasm: They both assert a certain exotic aesthetic, and they both can cause some confusion on your first read-through.
There's nothing particularly distinct about Päaeez on the outside, other than the clever brushed aluminum overhead logo. But on the inside, a dazzling nightspot with a sexy ambiance has risen from the carcass of the greeting card store that it once was. Päaeez, which means autumn in Turkish, is more streamlined than you’d imagine from the street.

"nice place but crap service" don't expect to be treated for what you pay there. Drinks are very expensive and they won't leave you with a feeling of "oh wow never had that one before". The servers FORGET their customer's orders, so if u heading there make sure you tell them like five times other wise they simply ignore you. Overall it was a bad experience as me and my friend left the place due to poor service and didn't get the value for $$..i would rather recommend Oasis hookah bar!!

Worst service I have ever had. Waitress has no interest in providing good service (and neither does the owner since the waitress is still working there). Overcharged my card by about 30% or so and would not return the money (instead she told me to f*** off). The group across from me left as well due to terrible service. (I wonder how many walk out every night...) Extremely limited seating (need to wait long before they can accomodate you for hookah). I guess it's okay if you want to spend a hundred a piece on drinks BEFORE you even see a hookah! And it's unavoidable since, according to others, reservations aren't taken seriously either. Apparently this is the state of things now - not like it was a few years ago when I was a regular customer.

One of the worst places to go if you want normal service. Yes if i and 5 friends stop going that does not mean it will shut down. But the host, bar tenders REALLY have to take a lesson in looking at customers, meaning. If people come up to a bar on a regular slow night, serve me please, do i have to really ask? also the host was more than on one occassion a jack-ass, but i made sure to let him know that the place is really stupid. He had a pretty stupid look on his face when 10 of us walked in and out, because we could only sit at the bar, even though the place was empty, because of a 'party' DO NOT GO THERE! just keep walking west anywhere on college. anywhere but here.

I'm sorry this is not a hookah bar!! they suck. THey are snobby and way to posh for my taists.

A hookah bar should be a place where you chill with a nice drink and listen to music that isn't so loud that you can't hear your friends. It should be a CHILL enviroment. Oasis fruit bar has that. But thats not the point. This place down right sucks. So does their shisha...They MAKE YOU pay for coat check or you can't come in period. The soda was watered down...I mean sprite should taist like sprite when you get it from a bar . This place had it taisting like water. It was discusting. Its overly priced too , One hookah was 20 dollars. ONE MINI HOOKAH! no refills nothing. Just one..and you can't combine flav.s ..it was ugh.THEIR SHISHA SUCKS BTW!! I'm still upset about our experience. It was way to loud in there, I couldn't even think straight. It was cramped and so sickeningly uncomfortable it wasn't even funny. I think I saw our waitress once the entire time..bless her she had the whole area to work.

It just was crap. four sodas( we didn't dare buy liquer in there. I don't wanna know what that would have cost us.) and ONE hookah was 50 bucks. Can you friggin believe that? ugh this place sucks. Do not go here if you enjoy hookah.

if you wanna be a poser and be all posh on your cell phone while you smoke something. Then by all means waiste your money here.
