I had heard great things about this place: nice, casual atmosphere, a bit low key, but nice people. This was mostly true, except for one issue: the bartender working that night (it was on a Friday) was an absolute prick. He would not serve anyone in our group until it pleased him. He would wait by the side of the bar, chat with his friend, and when we asked him politely to serve us, he simply said "no". Then 10 mins. later, he came up to us and asked us in a fed-up tone what it was that we wanted. We weren't a huge group, we weren't loud, we were by no means rude, and we weren't asking for overly elaborate drinks (unless a G+T is elaborate). Guy was a total a--hole. There are 5000 bars like this in NYC minus the douchebag bartender, so don't waste your time with this one and go elsewhere!
