Go + Play
By Sylvonna Beech
’m not sure if the name of these MP3 speakers are encouraging or just plain rude. On the one hand, “lets go and play” sounds quite fun, I must say. But if I changed my tone to something angrier, “Go play!!” sounds like the angry rantings of a tired, overworked mother.
These speakers are designed nicely, creating a sleek and smooth aesthetic appeal. I’d definitely choose these “pretty” speakers over other boxy brands any day. Although it’s little and cute, this is one bad-ass speaker system. With 4 speakers in all, the system delivers pounding base and amazing sound, without distorting the sound. Just think of how your lap top speakers sound turned up all the way- and Go + Play is the exact opposite. Loud, clear, and full of bass, these little babies are a great new toy for those looking to get more use out of their iPods.
The only issue I see with these speakers is the handle, which for some reason, goes right over top of the iPod screen. Not only does it block your view of the screen, if you don’t have dainty fingers like mine, you’ll most likely have trouble navigating your iPod’s controls. Other than that, the Go + Play speakers are a great solution to thunderous sound and pumping beats. Just don’t Go + Play them in the streets. | Go + Play
