  hoegaze is making a comeback. My Bloody Valentine and Swervedriver are in the midst of reunion tours, as are the Smashing Pumpkins (who wish they were shoegaze). Neil Halstead played in two prominent shoegaze bands, Slowdive and Mojave 3. Thing is, now he performs dreamy and wistful songs on his acoustic guitar. He's jumped off the bandwagon at exactly the wrong time. Have some sense, Neil. - R.T.
