 t’s a shame that spending days in the park leaves you with limited food options, like questionable hot dogs or packaged ice cream. Well, once again, Vancouver is ahead of the pack, with the park board's announcement that a new bistro will open on English Bay in 2010. Modeled after the success of the Watermark Restaurant on Kitsilano Beach, but at a lower price point, the project stems from interest tin redeveloping the concession services in the park. The project is going to cost between $5-6million. The restaurant should serve 118 outdoors, and 75 indoors, plus a take-out window will mean that you never have to settle for street meat again. -C.S. | | |
