spa built in the style of traditional Thai spas by world renowned Dr. Pinyo Suwenkiri, architect to the Thai royal family, here the space is adorned with Thai furnishings and pillows as well as Thai teak furnishings. Treatments include traditional Thai massage, and facials that don’t use any machines and only incorporate natural products that are good for your skin. The spa also offers exclusive Ruesri Dat Ton yoga classes. This was a form of ancient yoga once practiced by hermits in Thailand and is virtually unheard of in the west with its dozens of new yoga varieties (what is yoga bootie ballet anyways?). Here you will also learn the ‘Three Step Method’ of meditation which involves praying, walking and sitting.
At Echo Valley Ranch, the emphasis is on living life at a slower pace, taking time out for family and the environment while paying attention to the food we eat. So it is only right that the spa at EVR should abide by the same principles. After you've discovered your spirit animal, sample some of the fine delicacies offered by the ranch which raises its own cows and grows its own herbs and vegetables all of which are 100% organic, of course. -L.D.
