    Who knew Wednesday was such a musical night? There are a lot of concert choices tonight in Vancouver, headed by a marquee performance from The Swell Season. The past few seasons have been, um, swell for charismatic Frames frontman Glen Hansard and his Czech ingénue, co-star, and former lover Marketa Inglova. You may remember the pair from the critically-acclaimed film Once or the original soundtrack that won them an unlikely Academy Award. Now, despite their real-life romantic breakup, Hansard and Irglova soldier on for the sake of the music. How noble. Wednesday might be a bit early in the week for this much raunch, but Toronto's electro-trash superstar's raw, trashy, in-your-face (and other body parts) swagger can easily keep a sizeable Commodore crowd energized.
