It's a bit jarring walking into the new Drake General Store. It takes a moment to gather your bearings. Here's the same kitschy, light-hearted anything-goes West Queen West retail haven, but in Rosedale.
Every item is carefully curated and selected, yet it doesn't play into any overarching organizing theme.
If anything, measures have been taken to reduce the spiritual space between Rosedale and Parkdale.
That's all well and good, but do hipsters know that Toronto continues north of Bloor?
