In the video, an irritated Uwe Boll claimed that he was “the only genius in the whole fucking [movie] business” and demanded that a new petition be started that encouraged him to continue making movies. So far 4,578 people have signed the pro-Boll petition, while the anti-Boll petition has swelled up to 212,261 votes. Directors Eli Roth, Michael Bay, and George Clooney were mocked by Boll in the video and have all responded to the press by saying that they are not offended by Boll’s comments and actually feel sorry for him. If Boll were forced to retire as a result of this controversy, it would be a sad but appropriate ending for a rather pathetic career. So come on, cast your vote and fight the good fight against terrible filmmaking.
