If you're keen to make celebrity sightings of your own at an event like this then there's only one place to be. Set up camp by the kitchen doors and you'll catch all the bigwigs as they're escorted through and on to the VIP rooms. At least, that's where I met Kevin Costner.

"Hiya, Kevin. Are you enjoying the party?"

"Yeah, it's pretty wild," says Kevin, shaking my hand.

Forgetting myself again, I shrug. "Meh, it's alright."

Kevin screws up his face a little. Am I messing with him?

Also near the kitchen, I met Kalynn D. Crump from Youthography's marketing department. Many more stars were expected, she told me, including Samuel L. Jackson, Sum 41, and the cast of Entourage.

"I just met Kevin Costner," I say enthusiastically.

"Who?" she blinks at me.

"Kevin Costner!"

"Oh, we only concern ourselves with A-listers." And it's my turn to blink at her.
