    Pascale Girardin is Flowering

This sprightly, award-winning artist was educated at Concordia University in Montreal and has designed furniture and other architectural features for prestigious hotels across North America and the United Arab Emirates. From dishware that resembles a flowering lily to calming wall art composed of rose petals, Girardin offers up unique goods that draw inspiration from nature and fuse it with chic modernity.

Add Biologically-Inspired Fun By Willie Tsang

In west Hong Kong, born and raised, the graphic design room is where this creative type spent most of his days. Tsang draws inspiration from biological life forms and natural materials, although I’m still waiting on a double-helix stool or at least something reminiscent of DNA (I’m a former biology nerd so that comment is permissible). The Wiggle accessories hold photos, coins and mirrors in a topsy-turvy manner and are perfect for bringing some humour to those days when 9 to 5 feels more like 9 to forever.

Wallpaper* Loves Derek McLeod And So Should You

This OCAD-trained designer traveled to the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and School of Architecture in Scottsdale, Arizona after his graduation and constructed a 400-square-foot dwelling that received press from esteemed design magazines like Wallpaper*, Building, and Breathe. This well-accomplished and relatively young designer should be on the top of your must-see list while perusing the wares at the Interior Design Show. His RESeat chairs use warm, elm veneer tops and mount them on reused steel chair bases reminiscent of those chairs found in your high school homeroom. Since each base differs in shape and colour, each seat in this collection stands apart from the next. And if your crowded crisper drawer is driving you crazy, check out his Produce Storage Unit (PSU) which turns your fruit and veg collection into a work of art. Form truly follows function in McLeod’s works.
