mnivores beware – if the cow prints on the outside don’t give away Vera’s main menu staple, then the plethora of meat-centric meals up for order will give you the hint. Vera’s burger chain has spread through Vancouver more rampant than a bush fire (my apologies to Kelowna residents).

Shack up here for an afternoon lunch or a weekend dinner treat with the kids as the menu appeals to both refined, “grown-up” palates and picky 5-yr-old appetites (though one could argue refined and picky are merely synonyms).

The Friday special is the best offer on the menu where diners can choose from a selection of Mon-Thu specials meaning you and your (cheap) date can share different bugers without paying an extra dollar for a non-special patty (if that doesn’t impress her, what will?).
