 oveted as one of Vancouver’s best pastry chefs, Thomas Haas comes from a lineage of pastry chefs. He is a fourth generation pastry chef and became a Master Pastry Chef after he trained in Konditormeister in Boston.
Haas has worked in Michelin starred restaurants in Europe and North America. Haas and his wife, Lisa, opened Thomas Haas Fine Chocolates and Patisserie a few years back and their work has been featured in Martha Stewart Living several times.
They exclusively use raw ingredients such as fine BC wine, maple syrup from Quebec, vanilla beans from Tahiti, Okanagan fruits and much more. - A.C. |
