he Sylvia Lounge at the Sylvia Hotel is worth going to simply for the picturesque view of English Bay. The lounge is bright and stylish after its recent, much-needed renovation and is now a lovely destination for Sunday afternoon brunch on a sunny day.

Sylvia's has traditional and modern favorites on their breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menu that are done well even if they aren't as impressive as the view. -J.T.
