mixed-bag décor Veggie restaurant, the Foundation has an esoteric, paradoxically inclusive/exclusive feel. It's not a place for germaphobes (sorry David Puddy), as it revels in its grime (not Dizzy Rascal, the other kind), but the fare is fair and well-priced. A green hole-in the wall, it placates the hackie and granola set, while not spurning veg-curious fence sitters and idealistic envrio-lawyers. (If you want to wordplay (verb baby), write your own damn word). |

Was realy filthy inside. The service was ok. The main dishes was terrible.I had the mexican stew, was no tast to it,I didn't even finish it.Just because there is rice and tomatos in the dish doesn't make it mexican. The hommus was realy good.I would not go back there.

The Foundation is my new "must get my fix" spot. The variety of dishes and tastes are just heaven, and they happen to be a great spot for vegans and vegetarians. Last time I was there, I tried their fondu dessert - it was yummy but boy was I stuffed after the spicy peanut pasta dish. Their food is sooooo good that we always split the meals so we're getting the best of all orders!!! If you haven't tried it yet, please don't this Sat evening, I'm going and want to get a seat.
The only detractor is that I find the music just a bit too loud for conversations.
