    Amy Chung
Scoozis has been kicking around since 1988 when big hair and shoulder pads reigned the day. Styles have changed but not Scoozis—it's still keeping a stronghold on Howe Street. The bright dining room and warm atmosphere serves up Mediterranean delights with accents of North American influence that is prevalent in their pasta and seafood selections. - A.C.

    Don't eat here!!!
We had breakfast here and were never treated so poorly! The food was mediocre at best, and the prices were too high to justify the money we spent. The worst came when we wanted to leave. After a few polite requests for the bill, the waiter took 15 minutes to bring it to us. Instead of waiting for the same slow waiter to bring our change back so we could leave a tip--yes, we still wanted to leave a tip--we got up and brought the bill to the cash register ourselves. The cashier, who happened to be the owner, belittled us for being in a hurry and sarcastically told us how "pleased he was to have us". We ended up leaving huge tip, only because we just wanted to get out of there. Why would the owner of a restaurant be so rude to two customers who simply want to pay their bill, add a tip, and leave!?!

Have to admit I'm pretty mellow when going out, sometimes hitting some great spots and getting lucky all around with service, food ambiance...sometimes not as much but I can go with the flow and I know thats rarely perfect.
But this past week-end at Scoozi's
For the first time I am now trying to get any way to spread the word on how bad Scoozi's was for breakfast. They might have their act together for lunch and dinner I don't know, but for a simple breakfast of french toasts and sausages and eggs benedict definitely not.
French toasts were simply toasted bread no batter in them, sausages were way too salty, coffee...just bad. Eggs beny, cooked all the way thru, potatoes tasted like either the cooking plate wasn't cleaned or they had been marinated in lemon juice for the night..
Just sad that such a great location is putting out food like that...yes did complain but they still charged full price and didn't even apologize.
