  he venerable gents that opened up the Salt Tasting Room have discovered that they have a basement. They’ve ingeniously dubbed it the Salt Cellar, which will be opening its doors to the public on Mar. 3 at 6pm. A new sort-of-house sommelier, Anthony Nicalo from Farmstead Wines, has dug up some big fermented grapes in the form of Agricola Marrone wines from Italy to mark the occasion.
The cellar has a floor-to-ceiling glass case that showcases the variety of charcuterie available to pair with the impressive wines on deck. Drop in March 3rd to take a peek at the Salt Tasting Room’s underbelly. –J.T.
