I find Monica's evaluation off-base (she evaluates 'all-you-can-eat', when it is obvious they didn't order this, since she talks about the bill tally being incorrect. There is no item tally on an 'all-you-can-eat' bill.) ;)

Robson Sushi is one of our favorite sushi restaurants in Vancouver. Their 'all-you-can-eat' meals (especially lunch), are an excellent value. (The only thing we don't like is that dynamite rolls aren't on the lunch menu ... but there are so many other good items, that this isn't a big deal).

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is fine and the value is outstanding. Because it's a busy restaurant (and with 'all-you-can-eat' orders, you generally order a lot of stuff) items don't necessarily arrive with the desired frequency or in specific order (Miso soup & tea first, but the other items are on a "as they come available" basis).

Personally, I find this isn't a huge deal. (a) It's an all-you-can-eat place, so just make another order or (b) mention it to a waiter and they'll make a point to bring the item(s) in question.

We've eaten there many times and find (generally speaking) the wait staff to be pleasant, courteous and kind ... even when they are busy, as it's a popular restaurant.

As I said, it's one of our favorite sushi restaurants in Vancouver, mostly because the food is good and it's a good value.

SERVICE WAS VERY BAD. Poor menu options. Don't go there. Their "all you can eat" is a bad joke. The waitress was careless, absent minded. They gave us a scrap of paper to write down what we want, but they failed to bring everything we ordered. Very less quantities of the items we ordered (i.e. we ordered 3 chicken teriyaki as we were 3 adults, and they only brought one, they forgot to bring the rice and we had to wait for 10 minutes to bring 3 bowls even though we had ordered 4, nevertheless they put 7 bowls of rice on the bill !! they also put 14 pieces of sprig rolls on the bill but they only gave us 2 !!! Big time schemers). We asked for more chicken teriyaki and we had to wait 10 more minutes for it. The tea had a very bad taste. Then the waitress disappeared. We waited for her in vain. Then I went to the cashier to pay and found out they wrote a lot more quantities for each item than they actually served us. The cashier was rude. CONCLUSION: DON'T EAT THERE !
