Try the Ginger Carrot Soup ($5), light and hearty with a solid dose of, well, the sweetness of carrots. Or, my kryptonite, the Roasted Pepper Hummus ($5.50), which has a kick that differs from the regular ol’ dish. The Quesadillas ($6.50) looked tasty and filling with the rice bowls and tofu dishes looking at-par with the deliciousness surrounding me.
To keep euphoric, grab a Guinness for only $6 or choose from a Grasshopper, Honey Brown Ale, specialty teas, coffee or juice. Everything is under $10 and beats most other places for taste. The rookie café is an all-around joy, it can only get better once the live music, and performances get going. - L.H. |
