ekados, which interprets to ‘ingredients’ in Tagalog, is all about the flavour. The restaurant merges their Spanish, Chinese and Malaysian influences and presents their old school cuisine with a new world presentation. Owners, Larry Elima and Charlie Dizon, saw the absence of an upscale Filipino restaurant in Vancouver and have delivered one with great success. It’s about time to bring out some diversity in this sushi-ridden town. –A.C
