The desserts did little to rouse us from our agreeable stupor. The best of the lot was a rich Sabayon ($9): a poached pear in caramelized hazelnuts. Sweet, subtle and delicious, it provided a noble finish. Although the service was leisurely (i.e. slow), the laidback vibe was infectious. Hurry in for a taste while you can. It’s an unpredictable world, after all, and nothing lasts forever. - L.H.
