ocated on Denman Street, Raincity Grill serves a delectable selection of west coast cuisine. They offer spoonful morsel appetizers like Albacore Tuna Ceviche and top if off with preserved sea asparagus ($3.25). Raincity also cooks up some nice duck cassoulet ($29) and offer some wonderful cheese platters. Desserts are all $8 and will definitely satisfy the biggest sweet tooth at the table. – A.C.

2 Reader Reviews | You can't miss with the Raincity Grill. The only downside I found was having to battle my way through all of the people without reservations trying to get a table at the front.
From the moment you are greeted the service is spectacular, as expected with a higher end restaurant the serving staff are professional and friendly without being snobby. The restaurant is populated with the typical Vancouver crowd for the longer standing restaurants with locals, tourists and semi-celebrities.
We were lucky to have a semi-secluded table on the west corner of the patio allowing us a cozy spot with a great view of English Bay. It was a great night with spectacular weather.
Everything on the menu really looks very great and interesting and it doesn't dissapoint. If I have to encourage any decision it would be to try the deep fried oysters. The menu is regularly changing based on the availability of local items.
The prices are on the higher end of the scale but definitely not at the highest mark. I would definitely encourage anyone to try this restaurant at least once, you won't be dissapointed!
