Delicious food paired with a beautiful scenery, Pearl on the Rock is just steps away from the Pacific Ocean on White Rock’s Marine Drive. This award-winning restaurant serves up succulent dishes like Trap Caught Prawns & Baja Scallops with basil spinach spun pomme purée, prosciutto chip, lobster nage ($27) and smaller dishes like Foie Gras ($23) After dinner, many diners take a stroll down the pier or to the White Rock museum, right across the street from the restaurant. - A.C.

We had lunch at this reataurant on August 12, 2007. I enjoyed the blue corn encrusted calamari with the mango dip. I also ordered the pacific salmon sandwich. The waitress described my meal to me after placing it in front of me. Although it was a piece of overcooked white fish on a bed of sliced zucchini, she still told me it was pacific salmon on cucumber as the menu suggested. It would help if the service staff knew what they were serving but wouldn't it be great if the person preparing the meal knew what they were preparing. Or if they actually could prepare it well. I will not eat at Pearl On The Rock again. All the other restaurants were busy at lunch except this one. After dining here I understand why the Pearl On The Rock was nearly empty.
