Though the ambience of this café is more suited to a formal art gallery with the stark white walls, teapots display on illuminated shelves, and unwelcoming metallic chairs, it is obvious that this space has been outfitted as a tribute to the Tea leaf where connoisseurs can congregate and discuss their love for the potent plant.

Far from the antique tea rooms full of antique people that you’re granny is familiar with, this location appeals to the modern tea drinker that doesn’t want to be associated with the traditional Earl Grey (and matching hair colour). Of course the menu concentrates on the classic beverage, however inventive drinks with a variety of teas are also available to those with an international palate.

From Chai lattes to Apple Lemon Rooibos iced tea infusions, the offering a both hot and cold depending on your mood (or the weather outside). Also, a selection of wraps, sandwiches, salads, and other café fare is up for eats. - E.J.
