hen you think Mexico, one of two things pop into your mind: either jumping beans whose exact science is still yet to be revealed or that annoying Speedy Gonzales character from the old Bugs Bunny cartoons (who knew a mouse could run that fast?). The owners, well aware of the North American, limited cultural conditioning of all things Mexican, has made it easy by naming the restaurant after these two easily recognizable products of pop culture. Service is at a relaxed pace, but live bands perform throughout the evening for entertainment, so the wait is not that long. The prices on the menu are very reasonable, and you can expect a lot more authentic Mexican dishes rather than the typical Tex-Mex Americanized food at other joints. - E.J.
