If you have a few minutes to spare and want to try something new, ask the boys to brew you a coffee from the siphon (also known as the vacuum pot) crafted by high-end glass producer Hariol - also sold at the café. In coffee-land, this is known as a “clean” cup. There are no paper filters, no direct heat, and the short brew time means the coffee isn’t over-extracted. The result was a floral Ethiopian Sidamo with the delicate design of a black tea but all the rev of real coffee.

“If you had our coffee from one of those big Starbucks things, you wouldn’t taste any of the differences of the beans,” said Rod. “It’s crazy, it’s unbelievable how much more you get out of your coffee if you prepare it right.” - SH

The cafe was rememberable and I will definitely return again. The service people were friendly but I did not feel it was in line with the prices of the cafe-type fare. It could have been more professional.

The experience was very pleasant from the time we entered until we left. The coffee was very good and the counter service was excellent. We will return - we're in the area.

Outstanding cafe - superior coffee - very pretty contemporary design - a winner for the area.

It was our first time here and we would return. The munchies lineup was moderate, thank you somebody, and the coffee was very, very good. Our barrista (the guy in the picture) was very pleasant, attentive, and professional without an attitude of any sort except always smiling. They do it right and apparently is the reason it is popular and highly rated. Don't change!

Great little place and energetic staff, it's a fun cafe to share...highly recommend going with a group of friends. A bit loud and crowded, but fits the neighborhood and cafe-scene ethos.

    Great counter staff!!
Snack choices interesting and excellent - more food choices could have been better. But great coffee!
