A member of the Kirin family of Chinese restos, Kirin Seafood specializes in all things aquatic. The décor is stately and powerful, commanding an Emperor’s presence (or your lunchtime appetite). Shark fin soup is on the menu from the blue, as is other exotic fish dishes including abalone. The Cantonese regular menu has many traditional Chinese dishes (the Canadianized version) but also some authentic treats. The majestic Vancouver mountains and downtown skyline are views to be enjoyed during your meal, however they detract from any illusions of an Asian environment. - E.J.
