nother café taking advantage of the tapas trend that is sweeping the country’s foodie network, Kino’s even moonlights as flamenco dancing hotspot throughout the week, which provides excellent entertainment to your cup of South American brew. They aim for a boho feel of a German coffee house (Kino meaning cinema auf deutsch) by displaying vintage movie posters around the café that slightly confuses the newbie patron. However, once you realize their desire to get you sauced, it blends into a wonderful Khalo-Ernst painting of obscurity. - E.J. |

A great place to bring out-of-towners for a real treat. The appy's are basic but delicious, and I especially recommend the sangria.
The flamenco dancing and music is amazing.
It gets pretty crowded so come early especially if you have a party of more than 2.

Just got back from an evening at Kino with some friends. It started off with a really cool atmosphere, nice amount of seating. But the FOOD and SERVICE was deplorable. I REAL disappointment. Getting drinks took forever and our food order took well over an hour while watching other tables being served their nachos left and right. We ordered sandwiches that should have been made in 10 minutes. A really big disappointment. If you can put up with the terrible service, then the flamenco dancer is a treat.
Just be warned.
