You know that dread feeling you get toward the end of an excellent vacation, that regretful ache in your belly at having to leave paradise. The Kingston may not be paradise, but you will rue having to leave this oasis. – D.H.

Truly a great place to eat before the theatre. Not living downtown we were not sure where to eat before going to the theatre. Found this restaurant on the internet so decided to give it a go. GOOD CHOICE!! The service was outstanding. Our waitress was very helpful with the wine order as well as the menu. We had extra time to kill before heading to the theatre so were able to have a nice unhurried dinner. Our waitress was attentive without being annoying nor leaving us feeling like we were being ignored. The food was really good. The amount was just right allowing room for the to die for apple crumble. The atmosphere was cozy and our booth in the corner was quiet and private. Nice touch for a Saturday night. We felt we for sure got value for our money and will for sure be back next time we're in Vancouver.

It is a fun place with a great atmosphere to get together with a group of friends or after work drinks. I am a regular visitor, for the game or a quick beer. The staff is friendly with a variety of drinks to choose from.

I rate this a two star establishment after my regular dissapointment with the food. The menu selection is relatively good. Unfortunately, after no less than 5 attempts I have never received my meal HOT! It doesn't take them exceptionally long to get me the food, which brings me to the assumption the meal are under a heat lamp somewhere. The food is not spectacular either.

I will return for a drink from time to time, but I have eaten my last meal there for a while.
