f you’re mad about Malaysian cuisine, then the Kedah’s for you! Tasty tropical dishes spices with tumeric or stayed spicy shrimp skewers are available on the menu, along with fried rice, noodles, eggs, anchovies, sprouts – you get the idea… Everything is Fried! Not necessarily the healthiest restaurant for the waistline watchers. Malaysian fare relies heavily on an assortment of fish and seafood due to their South Pacific location, and conveniently Vancouver is a coastal city. The prices are relatively cheap, however the service is lacking as a result, making you question if they are pulling a Martha (as in physically going to the sea, catching your fish, bringing it back to the resto where it is then filleted, prepared and finally served to you) when making your meal. - E.J.
