    Review by Ellen Jakobsmeier
Though you may be tempted to try Kam’s (especially with their 2 for 1 coupons in the paper) be warned. The low prices keep this place bustling, but the food is definitely not even worth the discount prices you pay for it. The service is less than stellar, and if you’re lucky you’ll leave without having suffered any rude behaviour or blunt remarks from the servers. The dim atmosphere is not necessarily romantic, but more like a cheap effort to cut down on energy costs. Overall, you should expect to get what you pay for – maybe even less. - E.J.

Terrible. If you've been to Singapore, you will be disappointed. The place is way too dark (obviously, so you can't see what teh what you're eating). Went once and don't think we'll be back despite the weekly 2-for-1 coupons in the Straight, West Ender, etc. Let's just say, I prefer the Seafood Center in Singapore to this pseudo Singy fare.

What's up with the owner? The guy is a wierd-o. He hates if you look at him and he walks around with piss poor attitute. I wish I could dump a bowl of Hot and Sour soup on his head.

    Get a personality Mr Kam!

I've dined at Kam's Place on several occassions and frequently brought friends as well and found their Food, Service Atmosphere, Value and Seating to be exceptionally high in quality, relative to other restaurants in the same janra and in the same area Vancouver.

Kam's Place has received several awards over the years for quality of service and fine dining.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in an enjoyable dining experience.

One recommendation might be, that if planning to attend on a weekend evening for dinner, to go earlier in order to avoid lineups.

Ugh! If you go here for dinner you're making a big mistake. Lots of other restaurants in Davietown.
