nfortunately all that expensive celebratory plate-smashing is reflected in the prices of these Greek dishes. The Greeks know how to do hospitality, however the souvlaki was anything but spectacular. Compliments are deserved for their succulent kleftiko, humus and whole wheat pita dishes, as well as their selection of vegetarian meals. The Grecian décor is overdone, though the generous portions of food are true to the owner’s countryside upbringing in Kalamata, Greece. As per usual, I always prefer quality over quantity. - E.J.
