Call it a Mediterranean Grill, call it a bistro inspired style restaurant, call it east meets west; I call it never disappointing. That’s truly the appeal of Joey’s: they do everything to impress, from food to service to design. Joey’s dares to be original in the midst of chain restaurant fan fare: from skinny fries, to mini apple pies. And they don’t want to just be good at what they do; they strive to be the very best.
And, if anyone out there is aware of my fondness for liquor, let me make it clear that, again, Joey’s does not disappoint. With a cocktail list as inventive as their food menu, here you can take a gamble on something old that’s been given a refreshing new twist. Like the Super Sonic Gin and Tonic. (You may question at first what margarita slush is doing in your drink, but after one sip, you’ll likely wonder how you ever thought wrong of it. Try one. And then another). The immpeachable Bellini is poured up here and, whaddya know, actually served with a real peach. The wine list is both extensive and affordable, and for those of you unaware of what glass of vino to pair with your meal, by all means, ask your server. The staff here is not only nice to talk to, especially for the flirtatious single person, but they’re actually knowledgable, proving once again, that Joey’s is covering all their bases, and doing pretty much everything right.
Joey’s is new meets old, west meets east, mouth meets stomach. Like their motto says, “everyone here should feel like they’ve been upgraded to first class”… They had me at the “everyone”. I’ll be a frequent flyer. Just gotta check the status on my air miles… - B.J.

3 Reader Reviews | Miss Vancity, Jeff Fuller is the younger brother of Stan Fuller, the owner of Earls. They are separate companies but obviously have a lot of the same mentalities and concepts when it comes to running a restaurant seeing as how they are family. But MORE importantly, for Derius, nice try, I am a manager for Joeys and it started in North Vancouver by Jeff Fuller, NOT in the states. We do have one location in Seattle but it is definitely a Vancouver based, and more importantly CANADIAN based company. Check your facts.

FYI, Joey's is a chain restaurant in the US that just made it to Canada.

Despite the cutsie waitresses (hello Earls called and wants their staff back) this is a great space with a ahi tuna salad that is incredibly fresh and delicious! The lounge is always busy with an afterwork crowd that is somewhat hard to find on Broadway.
