Review by Ellen Jakobsmeier |
surprisingly youthful and perhaps even funky interior greets you at Indigo. Relying heavily on primary colours, the décor is somewhat dated to the late ‘90s (think a Friends episode when Ross and Rachel still weren't dating), and the menu is anything but experimental with the usual cobb salad and other standard hotel fare rounding out the entrees. The walls are painted (you guess it) Indigo, yet the offbeat atmosphere still attracts the yuppie West End and Yale Town diners. During the lunch hour the service slacks when the business crowd moves in. Probably one of the better hotel restos in Vancouver, but at the end of the day, it is still a hotel restaurant. - E.J. |
