Not sure what the last reviewer received, but I've never had meal at this restaurant and I go at least twice a week since they opened 32 years ago. I've tried a lot of Indian restaurants in Vancouver and this is by far the best in terms of food. The prices might be a bit higher then some of the others, but its well worth it. If you like real indian food then you should give this restaurant a shot, you won't be disappointed! The mango lassi and ferni dessert.. mmmmm!

Quality is very bad. I love indian food but this place is awful. Service is worst. Food is bad. Try ordering food for just one person and see their service ! SUCKS !

    1. The servers and owner (all sardars) were very rude. They were not courteous at all. Ofcourse they are respectful and nice to non-1ndians. Also they are non-hygienic. They keep scratching their beard when they serve.
    2. They never fill water to drink.
    3. Food was EXTREMELY bad.
    4. When they serve the food, they don't tell what each dish is. The sad thing is you can't tell from the look of the food what they are. PATHETIC. also, do not order shahi paneer. Looks like they had put paneer, some boiled onions, couple of chillies, 1 tomato, chill powder, NO SALT and blended them and served.
    5. No choices for vegetarians.
    6. Overall AVOID IT please.

Waste of time and money, food was super awful. Even I could cook better than that, agreed the naan was quite alright. But whats the point if the curry dishes taste like #@!$#@?
