Im wondering if there was a recent switch over at Honey? it used to be a great mixup of emo, old skool hip hop and rock classics. and the dj was a male. does anyone know what happened to that dj? i would love to follow him!

Mod Club Fridays *were* fun...until you'd gone 3 or 4 times and realized that 'DJ Girl Friday' would be more aptly named 'Girl Who Made a Mix Tape for Friday'. Mod Club is stale due mostly to the fact that it's the _exact_same_songs_ every Friday night. I'm pretty sure they are even in the same order. Great music--but there is a LOT of great music to be had out there, not just those 20 songs. Anyway...
It also seems the place has become overrun with a rather young and boring crowd of very mainstream co-eds since school started up again, probably due to the $6.00 double highballs and cheap, cheap cover. Honey used to be good value for a great time, but now it feels pretty ho-hum.
