f Tony Soprano lived in Vancouver, he might pull up a sidewalk seat at this authentic Italian café, ripped from the boot and replanted in Kits. Specializing in tongue scorching espresso of the premium ilk, EDC attracts the locals in droves. Also, the meat, cream, and bread bites are fabulous. Plan to while away, Italian style.

4 Reader Reviews | The second I set foot into this cafe, I immediately thought of Guido Brunetti, a character in Donna Leon novels. Guido is always popping into Venetian cafes for a delicious panini or a glass of chilled Pino Grigio!
Yes, this little cafe impressed me very much, especially when I tasted their scrumptious cannelloni.
My dining partner's choice was meat balls. Her portion was generous, but the balls needed more flavour and spiciness!
However, I will go back there for more of their delicious cannelloni and green salad.
Finally, the service was excellent!

Food is excellent as well as location.
Seating is tight and it is usually jam packed esp on the wknds.
Staff turn around appears to be often and it is never great service nor fast.
I wish they would hire friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Coffee has usually been the best, but depends who is making it.
